Science Experiment Kits - what a great
teaching tool!
Think science needs to be boring? How wrong you are. Even if
you have a very limited budget for homeschool supplies you can
enliven your homeschool science course in a number or ways.
Science experiment kits are available at all grade levels, at
many different price ranges and usually target a specific
discipline such as biology, chemistry and even more narrow
subjects such as magnetism, weather, insects, etc.
How to incorporate science experiment kits into your
science curriculum
This is relatively easy to do. Choose what science subject
you want to teach. This could be a broad science subject such
as general science, biology or earth science, or you might
choose to cover smaller subspecialties such as volcanoes and
earthquakes, the solar system, etcetera. Then choose your
textbook, cd-rom course, online biology course or simply
library books on the subject - whatever you choose to use to
make up the "core" of your teaching. Then, simply choose a
related experiment kit or kits!
